GETC Group recently completed the full store fixture and display package for a leading home-furnishings retailer at Rabdam Mall, Abu Dhabi — delivering a turnkey retail interior that captures a refined home-lifestyle experience. The client, a major regional brand offering furniture, décor, and soft furnishings, required a high-quality, fully integrated fit-out for its new flagship location. The objective was to create a sophisticated and functional environment that balanced design elegance with flexibility for evolving merchandising needs.

Collaborating closely with the client’s design and merchandising teams, GETC supplied the full suite of shop fixtures, gondolas, wall units, and display stands throughout the store. Each element — from structural fabrication to joinery detailing — was custom-engineered to suit the brand’s identity and the mall’s architectural parameters. The store layout was designed to optimise customer flow and product visibility, while maintaining clear zoning across furniture, décor, and accessory categories. The finishes palette was carefully selected to evoke warmth and luxury, featuring rich timber veneers paired with brass-accented metalwork, complemented by integrated lighting to enhance product presentation.

Built to the highest standards of quality and precision, the fixtures were designed for both durability and adaptability. GETC developed modular display systems that allow quick reconfiguration for seasonal promotions and new product launches — giving the retailer ongoing flexibility without the need for extensive reworks. Each system integrates adjustable shelving, concealed cabling, and plug-and-play lighting for seamless merchandising and visual consistency across the store.

Managing the project end-to-end, GETC oversaw fabrication, export logistics, customs clearance, and on-site installation in Abu Dhabi. The dedicated project team coordinated with mall management and local contractors to meet tight deadlines and ensure a flawless handover. Despite an accelerated programme, the store was completed on schedule and delivered to specification — a testament to GETC’s capability in executing complex international rollouts efficiently and to a high standard.
