GETC completed the delivery of the Hedgeley Malvern East Apartment complex with Hutchinson Builders. The 40 million dollar development included a multi-residential and mixed-use offering for the growing community in Melbourne’s inner eastern suburb of Malvern East.

Located on the iconic former Dairy Bell site, the development provides an urban transformation that seamlessly integrates to the existing conditions of the precinct, while respecting the current landscape characteristics.

GETC partnered with Hutchinson Builders to deliver all Joinery components located on-site including and not limited to all apartment & common are joinery aspects of the project.

The project featured a total of 117 apartments spanning across six floors, ranging from one to four bedrooms, including two luxury penthouses. Additionally, the ground floor features retail tenancies across the Waverley Road frontage.

Amenities included in the development range from a fully equipped gymnasium, communal library and courtyard, cinema space and rooftop terrace with inbuilt barbecue areas.

Working closely with the Architects from SJB and Hutchinson Builders, GETC was able to craft an unrivalled living experience for all parties involved in the project.

The high-end 2 pack, custom manufactured Laminate and Reconstituted stone finishes were all specially manufactured and supplied by GETC to ensure that the finished product matched the location of this new landmark development and its residences high expectations.

Thirty containers were seamlessly transported & handled by our crews on site, and with our typical excellence to manufacturing, QC and installation—GETC was once again able to deliver over and above for our clients and all involved.

Our teams of specialist placement & installation crews worked strenuously to expedite the process to meet construction schedules, managing and quickly remedying the few defects throughout to ensure our portion of the project was finalised before handover with an exceptional finished result.
