GETC contributed to the $25.7 million redevelopment in Clayton by delivering complete joinery and commercial furniture across more than 130 rooms and vibrant communal spaces.

The multi-storey development includes a reception, administration office, large common areas, communal kitchens, shared study spaces, cinema, basement carpark, laundry, bicycle store, alongside the varitey of student apartments — all crafted to enhance the student living experience with modern, functional spaces.

Our scope encompassed the complete supply of custom joinery and commercial furniture for both private rooms and shared spaces. In student units, we delivered purpose-built cabinetry, wardrobes, and study desks, integrating ample storage with a contemporary aesthetic.

In communal areas, our joinery solutions extended to reception area and tutorial room storage, complemented by a comprehensive loose furniture package including lounge seating, dining tables, task chairs and breakout furniture.

Each piece is built to last, using robust substrates, such as natural plywood finishes for maximum wear resistance, paired with premium hardware for smooth, reliable operation. Upholstered items feature hard wearing commercial-grade fabrics to ensure longevity, while timber accents and finishes add warmth and visual appeal.

Leveraging our global manufacturing network and extensive sector experience, we ensured the highest quality, cost-efficiency and finish consistency across the entire fit-out. All items were packaged and labelled per room to streamline installation, minimise disruption and keep delivery on schedule. Close collaboration with on site teams throughout delivery ensured a smooth, coordinated process from start to finish.
