GETC delivered complete joinery packages for the 362 bed Iglu Flagstaff Gardens student accommodation facility located on King Street in Melbourne’s CBD.

GETC was thrilled to be awarded the entirety of the joinery contract for the state of the art Iglu Flagstaff Gardens PBSA Facility which was delivered by Kane Constructions in partnership with Bates Smart Architects.

The 362 bed facility was constructed with an array of studio, twin & cluster orientated room types. GETC was tasked with manufacturing, delivering & installing the entirety of the joinery package for both the room and bespoke communal areas.

The materials incorporated into our supply package ranged from laminate, timber veneer, custom fabricated steel componentry, upholstered items and reconstituted, natural & terrazzo stone surfaces.

The facility was meticulously designed by the industry leading Bates Smart firm to incorporate the leafy green environment of Flagstaff Gardens the site borders on.

The entirety of the design, prototyping, manufacturing, delivery & installation process was done in collaboration with all involved parties of the project to ensure that the end product was fit for propose and designed for the rigours of the student environment.

Once again the GETC team is proud to present another state of the art PBSA facility that was brought to life by our global project team.
