GETC supplied complete FF&E packages for UniLodge’s 579 bed development at Bouverie Street in Carlton. The brand-new Lincoln House UniLodge complex is a purpose-built student accommodation facility, featuring spacious common areas, a rooftop garden and affordable accommodation for almost 600 students.
Situated in a central location in Melbourne’s inner northern suburb of Carlton, the development is ideal for students studying at any of the numerous universities in metropolitan Melbourne.
GETC’s involvement in the project comprised the supply and installation of the complete furniture package, with apartments and common areas among the areas included in the scope.
As the loose-fit Furniture component was outside the builder’s scope of works, GETC was accommodated by our previous work with UniLodge to continue our client relationship with IPSG—the agency managing the delivery of the Furniture package.
Project teams worked closely with UniLodge and the architect, Nettleton Tribe, throughout all stages of the project to ensure we delivered an exceptional level of quality on all Furniture items.
Every piece within the Furniture specification was meticulously matched in close consultation with the client & architect, including; powder coat, paint & timber finishes through to the classification of the upholstery.
The package included the typical furnishing of apartment spaces with task chairs, mattresses, bed frames, dining tables & chairs among other miscellaneous loose-fit items.
However, common area, outdoor and shared spaces commanded a diverse range of versatile items to suit the dynamic nature of the spaces. Games tables, sofa lounges, dining settings, stools, bar height pedestal tables & chairs, beanbags and weatherproof solid timber outdoor Furniture items were all included.
Our team is proud to have delivered yet another vibrant student accommodation development with our typical excellence in manufacturing, quality control & installation.
