Our Tree Planting Initiative

In partnership with ReForest Now, GETC will plant a tree for each room completed across our diverse projects, including commercial, residential and student accommodation developments.

This initiative goes beyond construction to restore native habitats, boost biodiversity, and support ecological restoration efforts across Australia. Together, with each room we finish, we’re nurturing the planet and making meaningful strides toward a sustainable future.

How the Program works

Complete A Room

With every room that GETC completes — whether it’s part of a commercial building, residential complex, or student accommodation project — our commitment to sustainability is put into action. Each completed room is directly tied to our tree-planting promise, making every project a catalyst for positive environmental change.  By transforming spaces, we’re also transforming the world outside them.

We Plant A Tree

Once a project room is complete, we notify our trusted partner, ReForest Now, an Australian non-profit specialising in reforestation.  For every completed room, we plant a native tree in a location chosen for restoration.  These trees are part of a larger mission to revive rainforests & support ecosystems. Every tree is a living, growing symbol of the work we do at GETC, fostering a greener landscape across Australia & beyond.

Restore Habitats

Each planted tree contributes to rebuilding natural habitats, providing shelter and resources for native wildlife, and supporting biodiversity. The trees planted through our initiative help repair ecosystems, making them more resilient and vibrant.  Over time, these restored areas become havens for local species, reconnecting fragmented habitats and creating more balanced ecosystems.
